Who Am I?
Saad Waseem
I am a Full-Stack AI Developer building scalable web applications and the AI systems that run on top of them — RAG chatbots, AI assistants and agents, recommendation systems and LLM-powered product features, grounded in a business's own data rather than in a general-purpose model's guesswork.
Underneath the AI layer I build the whole system: React, Vite and Next.js front ends on Node.js, Express and MongoDB, REST APIs, authentication and role-based access, real-time features with Socket.io and Redis, Python and FastAPI services for the ML side, plus CRM platforms and cross-platform Android and iOS apps.
I hold a BS in Computer Science from the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, and served as President of the DevCore Society, leading a 30+ member developer team. Freelancing since 2022 with 20+ clients delivered, I care most about the part after launch: systems that keep running once I am no longer the person watching them.

Two years building the AI and automation layer behind a production media operation. Shipped RAG assistants and LLM-powered internal tools, automated content and delivery pipelines with Python and FastAPI, and built the Next.js dashboards, REST APIs and queue-backed jobs the team runs on day to day.

Led technical workshops, hackathons and coding bootcamps and managed a 30+ member developer team. Organised 5+ hackathons and development bootcamps reaching 100+ students, growing the community to 200+ members, and built the society's own platform end to end.

BS Computer Science
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, graduating in 2026 — a programme grounded in systems, data structures, networks and software engineering rather than framework tutorials, which is why I am comfortable working a level below the abstractions most products sit on.
Alongside my studies I served as President of the DevCore Society, running technical workshops, hackathons and coding bootcamps and managing a 30+ member developer team. Over two years that work reached 100+ students across 5+ hackathons and bootcamps, growing the community past 200 members — and I built the society's own platform end to end.
I had already started in industry before the degree finished — an internship in 2021, full-time engineering roles from 2022 and freelancing alongside both, adding up to 5+ years of professional experience, so the academic foundations and real client delivery were built in parallel. That combination is what I carry into my current work in AI and full-stack engineering: theory I can reason from, and the shipping discipline that only comes from production.
